Aging with Style

None of us can imagine what we'll be like in our 80's, but we can certainly hope to be living life to the fullest. What "living life to the fullest" means will take on different significance for each of us. This article about  Carmen Dell’Orefice, an 81-year-old New York model, impressed me.

One can't help but notice her style and grace. The author refers to "...her signature silver mane, sultry dark eyes and youthful elegance." What's more, at 81 she's able to keep up with modeling sessions and photographers. They're a lot of work, even for the youthful models who share Ms. Dell'Orefice's dressing room.

As for me, I always hope to be living to my full potential, now and later. Seeing older women who embrace life (including those in my post about the world's chicest grandmas) inspires me and gives me something to look forward to.
